Serve: Christian faith is not passive. We are called to walk in the way of Christ. This means that we seek to enflesh faith, embody love, and enact God’s compassion. There are many ways to serve God and neighbor at St. Peter: volunteering for a service project like the Hunger Meal or Habitat for Humanity, serving as a worship leader, singing in the choir, preparing communion, mowing the grass, cleaning up the cemetery, assisting our secretary with a mailing, serving on a Ministry Team. No task is unimportant because every task contributes to the life and ministry of God’s church.
